How can you improve your online safety?
At VPN Rice, we strive to help people be safer and more in control of their online lives. So, to celebrate Cyber Security Awareness Month, check out some tips on how to secure your data and devices from potential online dangers.

1.Always maintain caution when clicking on any link, and especially ensure that the sender is trustworthy. For example, if you receive a suspicious email or text from your bank, logging in through your bank's official website instead of using a link is a safer option.
2.Enable two-factor authentication for your account, a security measure that helps prevent specific attacks like brute force attacks. Two-factor authentication adds a layer of protection when you log in, making it harder to guess passwords with automated tools.
3.Choose a strong password with at least 12 characters, including symbols, numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters. Avoid using common words, word combinations, or obvious substitutions, such as using "Fatal1ty" instead of "fatal".
4.Use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to protect your online activity and keep your IP address hidden. VPNs encrypt your connection and keep your data safe from strangers on the internet.
5.Always maintain awareness of cybersecurity threats. Stay informed about online risks, helping you recognize and deal with them quickly.
